I loved the blog above about “distracting children” How wonderfully right to have this attitude. Gip and I have told a few harried mothers not to leave because of their children. I can remember very well when Andrew (from age 1)distracted anyone sitting around him. We moved to a different pew every Sunday so that no particular person was constantly distracted. Now he serves as an altar server and helps to set up the altar before Mass. I’m so glad we stayed the course or he wouldn’t have known God’s love or the parishioners love who finally understood his ADD. Our church in Bluefield thankfully does not have a cry room. All our children are God’s blessings, well behaved or not.
