BE MY GUEST: Sr. Clare Marie Rohutny, O.S.A

The Pursuer

Augustine who,
Ever searching down the winding roads
Of philosophy, beauty, and love,

Ever yearning for a heart to unfold
In truth and freedom, you who
Found all and more in the Holy Writ.

Ever desiring to find the infinite,
Augustine, can you help me find
The God within?

A God who eludes and draws near,
Who whispers in my ear?
And then hides in darkness
For days, months, and years?

Can you, searcher of truth,
Help me discover Him
Who my heart pines for
In the middle of the night?
