TODAY IS the Feast of St. John of the Cross

[St. John of the Cross was a Spanish mystic and writer. God called him and St.Teresa of Avila to reform the Church in general and the religious life for nuns, brothers, and priests in particular. I incite you to watch this brief video in celebration of his Feast. It features one of his canticles.]

  1. My favorite quote of St. John of the Cross is this one, “The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. The soul has to proceed rather by unknowing rather than knowing.”
