Two Prayers for Healing from the Gallican Liturgy (7th Century)

prayer Pictures, Images and Photos

Lord Jesus, healer of our souls and bodies,
during your life on earth,
You went about doing good,
healing every manner of sickness and disease,
strengthening, curing, comforting and consoling.
You want nothing more than to see us healthy and happy.
You are the enemy of death and disease,
and in and through You they are overcome and conquered.
lay Your hands upon us now,
so that we may live in your presence untiringly.

God of heavenly power,
one word from you can free us from every
weakness and disease.
Kindly hear our prayers,
free us from our sickness,
restore our health,
and give us the strength to praise You unceasingly.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
